Common use of Subcontractor Clause in Contracts

Subcontractor. “Subcontractor” shall mean a person or entity to which Business Associate delegates a function, activity or service involving access to PHI or ePHI of Covered Entity, other than as a member of Business Associate’s Work Force.

Subcontractor. “Subcontractor” shall mean a person means any individual, partnership, corporation, firm, association, unincorporated organization, joint venture, trust or other entity engaged to which Business Associate delegates a function, activity or service involving access to PHI or ePHI of Covered Entity, other than as a member of Business Associate’s Work Forceperform hereunder.

Subcontractor. “‘Subcontractor” shall mean ’ means a person (i.e. an individual, company, body corporate, HUF) or entity a firm (proprietary or partnership) or an Association of Persons (i.e. consortium, a joint venture, or by whatever nomenclature called) or like whose Offer has been accepted by the Company and named as Subcontractor in the Letter of Intent or the Work Order or the Subcontract and the legal successors in title to which Business Associate delegates a functionthis (these) person(s), activity or service involving access to PHI or ePHI but not (except with the prior written consent of Covered Entity, other than as a member the Company) any assignee of Business Associate’s Work Forcethis (these) person(s).

Subcontractor. “Subcontractor” shall mean a person or entity to which Business Associate delegates “that creates, receives, maintains, or transmits protected health information on behalf of a functionbusiness associate” and who is now considered a business associate, activity or service involving access to PHI or ePHI of Covered Entity, other than as a member of Business Associate’s Work Forcethe latter term is defined in in in 45 CFR §160.103.

The term Subcontractor does not include any Separate Contractor or ePHI of Covered Entity, other than as a member of Business Associate’s Work Forcehis subcontractors.

Subcontractor. “Subcontractor” shall mean a A ‘‘subcontractor’’ is any person or entity (or an affiliate of such person or entity) that is not an affiliate of the covered service provider and that, pursuant to which Business Associate delegates a functioncontract or ar- rangement with the covered service provider or an affiliate, activity reasonably ex- pects to receive $1,000 or service involving access more in com- pensation for performing one or more services described pursuant to PHI para- graph (c)(1)(iii)(A) through (C) of this section provided for by the contract or ePHI of Covered Entity, other than as a member of Business Associate’s Work Forcearrangement with the covered plan.

Subcontractor. “A person, business, company or organisation contracted by you to deliver or perform part of your obligations under this Contract. A person engaged on a contract for Services who performs the tasks of an employee is not considered a Subcontractor” shall mean a person or entity to which Business Associate delegates a function, activity or service involving access to PHI or ePHI of Covered Entity, other than as a member of Business Associate’s Work Force.

The term "Subcontractor” is referred to throughout the Construction Contract Documents as if singular in number and means a member Subcontractor or an authorized representative of Business Associate’s Work Forcethe Subcontractor. The term "Subcontractor" does not include a separate contract or subcontract with the Owner. Program Manager may be requested to retain, hire, and contract with Subcontractors as appropriate.

Subcontractor. The term “Subcontractor” includes Sub-Subcontractors who are any individual, firm, partnership, corporation or entity to which Business Associate delegates combination thereof, including joint ventures, under direct contract with a function, activity or service involving access to PHI or ePHI Subcontractor for construction of Covered Entity, other than as a member portion of Business Associate’s Work Forcethe Project.

The term Subcontractor is referred to PHI or ePHI of Covered Entity, other than throughout the Contract Documents as a member of Business Associate’s Work Forceif singular in number and masculine in gender and means the Subcontractor and his authorized representative(s).

Subcontractor shall include an authorized representative of Business Associate’s Work Forcethe Subcontractor. The term Subcontractor does not include any separate contractor employed by Owner.

To the extent that the term Trade Contractor is utilized in the Contract Documents, activity or service involving access to PHI or ePHI of Covered Entity, other than it shall have the same meaning as a member of Business Associate’s Work Forcethe term “Subcontractor.”

The term "Subcontractor" is referred to throughout the Contract Documents as if singular in number and means a Subcontractor or service involving access to PHI an authorized representative of the Subcontractor. The term "Subcontractor" does not include a separate contractor or ePHI subcontractors of Covered Entity, other than as a member of Business Associate’s Work Forceseparate contractor.

Subcontractor. “Subcontractor” shall mean An entity contracting directly or indirectly with a person Party, or entity any Subcontractor thereof, to which Business Associate delegates a function, activity furnish services or service involving access materials as part of or directly related to PHI or ePHI of Covered Entity, other than as a member of Business Associatesuch Party’s Work Forceobligations.

Subcontractor. “Subcontractor” shall mean a person or entity to which Business Associate delegates a function, activity or service involving access to PHI or ePHI of Covered EntityPO, other than as a member of Business Associate’s Work ForceAssociate Workforce.

Subcontractor. “Subcontractor” shall mean an entity that contracts with the Business Associate to perform services for the Covered Entity, including, but not limited to: (a) a function or activity involving the use or disclosure of individually identifiable health information, including, but not limited to, utilization review, case management, subrogation, medical management, quality assurance, and data analysis. “Subcontractor” shall not include any person or entity to which with whom Covered Entity has entered into a contract with directly, even if Business Associate delegates a function, activity has also contracted with such person or service involving access to PHI or ePHI of Covered Entity, other than as a member of Business Associate’s Work Forceentity.

Subcontractor. “Subcontractor” shall mean a " means any person or entity (including employees, agents and representatives thereof) (including laborers) who has a contract with or is engaged by Contractor, or with any other Subcontractor, at any tier to which Business Associate delegates construct or perform a functionportion of the Work and/or provide construction related services for the Work at the Site, activity and includes any party any of them are responsible or service involving access to PHI liable for at law or ePHI of Covered Entity, other than as a member of Business Associate’s Work Forceunder the Contract Documents.

Subcontractor. “Subcontractor” shall mean A Subcontractor is an individual, partnership, corporation, association, joint-venture or any combination thereof, which has a person direct or entity indirect contract with Contractor to which Business Associate delegates perform a function, activity or service involving access to PHI or ePHI portion of Covered Entity, other than as a member of Business Associate’s Work Forcethe Work.

Subcontractor. “Subcontractor” shall mean is an person (as defined in 45 CFR 160.103) who a person or entity to which Business Associate business associate delegates a function, activity activity, or service involving access to PHI or ePHI of Covered Entityservice, other than as in the capacity of a member of Business Associate’s Work Forcethe workforce of such business associate, it shall generally have the same meaning as the term “subcontractor” at 45 CFR 160.103.

Subcontractor. “Subcontractor” A firm, partnership, corporation, independent contractor (including 1099 individuals), or combination thereof providing Services to County through Second Party for all or any portion of the advertised work. The term Subcontractor shall mean a person or entity to which Business Associate delegates a function, activity or service involving access to PHI or ePHI of Covered Entity, other than as a member of Business Associate’s Work Forceinclude all "Subcontractors."

Subcontractor. “Subcontractor” shall mean defined as a person or entity that is contracted by Group, directly or through another person or entity that is contracted to which Business Associate delegates a functionprovide Covered Services to Plan Members, activity or service involving access to PHI or ePHI who are not employees of Covered Entity, other than as a member of Business Associate’s Work Forcethe Group.

Subcontractor. “Subcontractor” means any Person (including an agent) supplying labor or materials to perform any or all of Vendor’s obligations under this Agreement, including any Person at any tier of subcontractors, and shall mean not be limited to those Persons with a person or entity to which Business Associate delegates a function, activity or service involving access to PHI or ePHI of Covered Entity, other than as a member of Business Associate’s Work Forcedirect relationship with Vendor.

Subcontractor. “Subcontractor” shall mean a person or entity to which Business Associate delegates a function, activity or service involving access to PHI or ePHI of Covered Entityentity, other than as a member wholly-owned subsidiary of Business AssociateProvider, that has been retained to perform all or a portion of Provider’s Work Forceobligations hereunder.
