Common use of Strike Prohibited Clause in Contracts

Strike Prohibited. Neither the Council nor any employee will call, initiate, authorize, participate in, sanction, encourage or ratify any strike, sit-in, slowdown, sympathy strike, cessation or work stoppage or the concerted interference with the full, faithful and proper performance of the duties of employment with the Employer during the term of this Agreement, other than as may be provided for in the Illinois Public Labor Relations Act of 1986 or as may be revised from time to time. Neither the Council nor any employee shall refuse to cross any picket line, by whomever established.
