Common use of Strain Injury Prevention Clause in Contracts

Strain Injury Prevention. ‌ (a) The Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee will, in the performance of regular worksite inspections, identify musculoskeletal strain injury or illness risk factors. (b) Where new equipment will be introduced to the workplace, or during the design and planning stages of new or renovated workplaces or workstations, the Employer will seek appropriate advice with respect to the risk factors noted in (a) above. The Employer will seek such advice from resources that will include the Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee.
