Common use of Starting Location Clause in Contracts

Starting Location. 1 The place of starting a day’s work for all groups shall be at a location designated by the employer. The employer reserves the right to reassign employees to a different reporting location as job requirements dictate, and agrees to give a twenty- four (24) hour notice whenever possible. Employees shall receive the applicable pay rate from the time they report to the designated start point until the time they cease working in accordance with California law. #2 Where members of District Council 36 are required to utilize employer provided transportation to access work areas there shall be a premium of one dollar and fifty cents ($1.50) per hour premium.
