Standard Work Day Defined. It is the policy of the City of Xxxxxxxx that the hours of operation of the City shall be from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except on those days which are observed as a holiday or non-work day. The normal hours of work for employees assigned to the corporation yard shall ordinarily be from 7:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. The City shall have the right to schedule shifts outside of these hours based upon the business needs of the City.

  • Standard Work Day The standard work day for non-shift employees shall be seven (7) hours exclusive of the meal period.
