Common use of Stand-by And Call-In Clause in Contracts

Stand-by And Call-In. (a) i) An employee who is required to remain available for duty on standby outside her or his regularly scheduled working hours shall receive standby pay in the amount of three ($3.00) per hour for the period of standby scheduled by the Employer. Effective November 21, 2017, the standby pay shall increase to three dollars and thirty cents ($3.30). Where such standby duty falls on a weekend or paid holiday, the employee shall receive standby pay in the amount of four ($4.00) per hour. Standby pay shall, however, cease where the employee is called in to work.
