Common use of Stage 3 Clause in Contracts

Stage 3. A. If the grievant is not satisfied with the decision at the conclusion of Stage 2 and wishes to proceed further under this grievance procedure, the aggrieved shall, within seven (7) days after receiving the written decision in Stage 2, file a written appeal of the decision at Stage 2 with the Superintendent. Copies of the written decision at Stage 2 shall be submitted with the appeal. B. Within seven (7) days after receipt of the appeal of the aggrieved, the Superintendent or his/her representative, other than aggrieved supervisor, shall hold a hearing with the aggrieved. C. The Superintendent shall render a decision in writing to the aggrieved and to the Association President within seven (7) days after the conclusion of the hearing.
