Staff Accommodation. The Lessee at his own cost and expenses shall make his own arrangements for housing as per the provisions of the “Naya Raipur Development Plan- 2031” of his staff with necessary amenities as may be required under the Applicable Laws and in particular labour laws. The Lessee shall take all necessary safety, precautions and protective measures for the safety and welfare of the workers and preserving their health while working on such jobs and also provide the amenities in accordance with the labour laws. The Lessee shall indemnify and hold harmless the NRDA from and against any and all losses, damages, liabilities, deficiencies, claims, actions, judgements, awards, penalties fines, costs or expenses of whatever nature including professional fees and reasonable attorney’s fee that may be incurred by the NRDA in connection with any claim, proceeding or investigation by the Government Authority or quasi-government authority (ies) arising from the non-compliance in this regard by the Lessee.
