Spouse/Child Sample Clauses
The Spouse/Child clause defines the rights, benefits, or obligations that apply specifically to a party's spouse or children within the context of the agreement. This clause may outline eligibility for benefits, such as health insurance coverage, or specify procedures for including or excluding family members from certain provisions. By clearly identifying how spouses and children are treated under the contract, the clause ensures clarity and prevents disputes regarding family member entitlements or responsibilities.
Spouse/Child. In the event of a death of the spouse or child (including step-child) of an employee in the Bargaining Unit, the employee shall be granted leave with pay as follows:
a. For employees with an average regular workweek of 56 hours, 72 hours of bereavement leave will be provided by the District. Additional time off will be allowed by using any combination of accrued leave hours.
Spouse/Child. This policy shall apply in the case of an Employee or the spouse or a child of the Employee with a life-threatening illness, which causes the use of all accumulated Sick Leave by the Employee.
Spouse/Child. This policy shall apply in the case of a Psychologist or the spouse or a child of the Psychologist with a life-threatening illness, which causes the use of all accumulated Sick Leave by the Psychologist.
