Split Time Run. 168. For the purpose of this Agreement, a split-time-run shall be defined as “any run containing two or more pieces of work separated by a paid or unpaid break.” If the break in a split-time-run is two hours or less, the break shall be an unpaid break. For full-time operators only, if the break in a split-time-run exceeds two hours, the Operator shall be paid at straight time for the period of the break in the split-time-run that is in excess of two hours. While being paid during a break in a split-time-run that exceeds two hours, the Operator shall stand by in the report room to accept any assignments within the Operator’s competence that SFMTA requires. Such assignments will be work in the customary line of work performed by the Operator.
