Split Shift Differential - Compensation. All employees in the bargaining unit except transportation employees whose assigned shift contains a period of unpaid time, which exceeds 2.5 hours, shall be paid a shift differential premium of five percent (5%) above the regular rate of pay for all hours worked. Transportation employees shall receive a shift differential premium of one percent (1%) above the regular rate of pay for all hours worked.
