Specialized Professional Association. (SPA) Review with National Recognition. The goal of the SPA Review with National Recognition is to align specialty licensure area data with national standards developed by Specialized Professional Associations (SPAs) in order to receive national recognition at the program level. The site team will consider the National Recognition decision available in SPA program level reports as evidence to meet the sufficiency criteria related to CAEP Standard 1.
