Special Studies. Providing planning services, site evaluations, environmental studies, or comparative studies of prospective sites, preparing special surveys, studies, and submissions required under Applicable Law.
Special Studies. Plans for conducting special studies will be determined jointly between the Government and MCC before the approval of the M&E Plan. The M&E Plan will identify and make provision for any special studies, ad hoc evaluations, and research that may be needed as part of the monitoring and evaluating of this Compact. Either MCC or the Government may request special studies or ad hoc evaluations of Projects, Activities, or the Program as a whole, prior to the expiration of the Compact Term. The results of all evaluations will be made publicly available in accordance with the MCC M&E Policy.
Special Studies. The evaluation component of the M&E Plan will describe the purpose of the evaluation, methodology, timeline, required MCC approvals, and the process for collection and analysis of data for each evaluation. The results of all evaluations will be made publicly available in accordance with MCC’s guidelines for monitoring and evaluation plans posted from time to time on the MCC Website (the “MCC Policy for Monitoring and Evaluation of Compacts and Threshold Programs”).
Special Studies. 5.9.1. From time to time the Parties will engage in special studies (e.g. watershed/subwatershed, geotechnical, floodline) related to land use and regulatory matters that affect all municipalities and one or more Conservation Authority(ies).

The M&E Plan will identify and make provision for any other special studies, ad hoc evaluations, and research that may be needed as part of the monitoring and evaluating of this Compact. Either MCC or MCA-Philippines may request special studies or ad hoc evaluations of Projects, Activities, or the Program as a whole prior to the expiration of the Compact Term. When MCA-Philippines engages an evaluator, the engagement will be subject to the prior written approval of MCC. Contract terms must ensure non-biased results and the publication of results. As of the date hereof, two special studies are planned: for the KALAHI-CIDSS Project, an evaluation is planned to measure the various benefits of the sub-projects; for the Secondary National Roads Development Project, evaluations are planned to focus on measuring changes in travel times and transportation costs.
Special Studies. A unit member may teach special studies, whether for individual students or for small groups, for which she/he assumes normal grading and record keeping responsibilities. Compensation is based at the rate of one/fifteenth (1/15) of a teaching unit at the adjunct pay rate for each special studies student unit. Special studies student units may be cumulative summer, fall, and spring of one academic year. The instructor shall furnish a copy of the final grade sheet to the appropriate Division Chair by the published date that grades are due to Admissions and Records. Special studies units will not be compensated if claimed after June 30th.
