Common use of SPECIAL PROCESS REQUIREMENTS Clause in Contracts

SPECIAL PROCESS REQUIREMENTS. Suppliers who provide “Special Process” services or products that have been manufactured using “Special Processes” to CSW (Special Processors) are required to have those special processes validated and approved by CSW Supplier Quality. Additional information can be found within the Supplier Quality Requirements document (SQR-001). Provide a list of all special processes, including subtier processes within the supply base, for consideration of use and authorization to proceed. FAR & DFARS: When the materials or products furnished are for use in connection with a U.S. Government contract or subcontract, in addition to the General Provisions, the following provisions shall apply, as required by the terms of the prime contract or by the operation of law or regulation. In the event of a conflict between these FAR and DFARS provisions and the General Provisions, the FAR and DFARS provisions shall control.
