Common use of SIGN CONTROL Clause in Contracts

SIGN CONTROL. Tenant shall not obstruct or permit the obstruction of light, halls, Common Areas, roofs, parapets, stairways or entrances to the Building or the Premises and will not affix, paint, erect or inscribe any sign, projection, awning, signal or advertisement of any kind to any part of the Building or the Premises, including the inside or outside of the windows or doors, without the written consent of Landlord. Landlord shall have the right to withdraw such consent at any time and to require Tenant to remove any sign, projection, awning, signal or advertisement to be affixed to the Building or the Premises so long as a reasonably satisfactory alternate location is provided and such sign is relocated by Landlord at Landlord's sole cost. If such work is done by Tenant through any person, firm or corporation not designated by Landlord, or without the express written consent of Landlord, Landlord shall have the right to remove such signs, projections, awnings, signals or advertisements without being liable to the Tenant by reason thereof and to charge the cost of such removal to Tenant as additional rent, payable within 10 days of Landlord’s demand therefore.
