Common use of SICKNESS AND OTHER INCAPACITY Clause in Contracts

SICKNESS AND OTHER INCAPACITY. 7.1 Subject to the Employee’s compliance with the Company’s policy on notification and certification of periods of absence from work, the Employee will continue to be paid his full salary during any period of absence from work due to sickness, injury or other incapacity, up to a maximum of two (2) days for each completed month of service in the first year of service and four (4) days for each completed month of service thereafter.

Subject to the Employee’s compliance with the Company’s policy on notification and certification of periods of absence from work, the Employee will continue to be paid his full salary Salary during any period of absence from work due to sickness, injury or other incapacity, up to a maximum of two (2) days for each completed month 26 weeks in aggregate in any period of service 52 consecutive weeks. Such payment will be inclusive of any statutory sick pay payable in accordance with applicable legislation in force at the first year time of service and four (4) days for each completed month of service thereafterabsence.
