Common use of Short Term Disability Insurance Clause in Contracts

Short Term Disability Insurance. The City shall provide employees with STD in an amount equivalent to 70% of their regularly scheduled hours up to a maximum benefit of $1,250 per week. This benefit shall be provided at no cost to the employee.

Short Term Disability Insurance. The City shall offer short-term disability (STD) which shall provide employees with STD in an amount equivalent to 7066 2/3% of their regularly scheduled hours the disabled employee’s base wage income provided by Employer, to a maximum of $1,000 dollars per week, beginning the first day in case of an accident and the eighth day in case of illness. A disabled employee is eligible for short-term disability up to a maximum benefit of $1,250 per week. This benefit shall be provided at no cost to 180 days after the employeeaccident or the commencement of the illness.
