SHOP WORK. 32.01 On any sandblasting, cleaning and/or painting that is performed within the Employer’s shop or within the confines of the area or compound, which would be generally known as Shop Work, all overtime will be paid at time and one-half (1.5x) the applicable rate of pay.
SHOP WORK. The testing, repair, and rebuilding of transformers, oil circuit reclosers, sectionalizers, voltage regulators, and other electrical apparatus will be done by qualified journeyman linemen who may be assisted by apprentices. Nothing in this paragraph precludes work performed by Relay Control Wiring Techs/Substation Linemen as specified in the June 7, 1999 Letter of Understanding concerning Relay Control Wiring Technicians, Substation Technicians and Substation Lineman Classifications.
SHOP WORK. Shop work shall be defined as any work performed within the confines of the Contractor’s registered place of business. Shop work shall not include work performed at the business premises of others without the prior approval of the Union and shall include the preparation, sandblasting, painting and all incidental work thereto in order to perform shop coatings on oil field equipment, drilling equipment, trucks, tanks, valves, heavy equipment, vessels, derricks, structural steel, piping, etcetera.
