Common use of Shift Times Clause in Contracts

Shift Times. Management reserves the right to establish additional shifts or change shift starting and ending times with sixty (60) days notice. Should a vacancy occur of at least two (2) weeks duration, employees may be required to change their shift time as deemed necessary by the Employer. The Employer shall not make such change arbitrarily or to avoid payment of overtime. Management reserves the right to adjust the commencement times for the shifts by a maximum of one (1) hour. Any adjustment in these times shall be provided to the Association thirty (30) days prior to implementation. Management shall not make more than one such shift adjustment in a six (6) month period.
