Vacation Principles. 1. Vacation entitlement is open: Employees will be entitled to at least the vacation entitlement corresponding to their vacation pay (i.e. 4% = 2 weeks), and will not limit an employee from asking for more time if so desired. 2. Entitled to fourteen (14) days consecutive vacation which will not result in a change of schedule unless mutually agreed with the employee. 3. Minimum two (2) weeks. 4. Current practice – vacation bank practice – cash out on request. Vacation requests must be approved by management. Vacation requests will be submitted to the Employer by April 1st and the Employer will respond by April 15th.
