Common use of Shift Loadings Clause in Contracts

Shift Loadings. (a) A shift loading of 15% shall apply to ordinary afternoon and or night shifts which rotate with day work so as to give employees at least one third of their time off afternoon or night shift. (b) A shift loading of 25% shall apply to non-rotating afternoon shift. (c) A shift loading of 30% shall apply to non-rotating night shift. (d) Employees required to work ordinary shifts on a public holiday shall be paid in accordance with sub clause 39.8 of this Agreement.
