Shift Changeover. Every reasonable effort shall be made by the Employer to avoid scheduling the commencement of a shift within sixteen (16) hours of the completion of the employee’s previous shift and to avoid excessive fluctuations in hours of work.

Shift Changeover. The parties agree that there will be a shift changeover of 15 minutes at the end of the shift where it is deemed necessary. Outgoing operators will be required to give a full update to incoming operators during the 15-minute changeover to ensure a smooth handover. The shift changeover will be paid at overtime rates. Employees who cannot work the 15-minute changeover will need to discuss the individual circumstance with their Process Owner. After discussion with their Process Owner any employee unable to comply with the requirement will not be compelled to work the 15-minute changeover.

Shift Changeover. Both Parties recognize that an exchange of information is required on shift turnover. It is further recognized that the time required for this exchange of information does not qualify for payment. However, in the case of: Senior Power Plant Operator - Control Room Senior Power Plant Operator - Field Work Control Area Operator Secondary Control Area Operator Power Plant Operator II - Control Room Senior Fuel Handling Specialist - Control Room Senior Fuel Handling Specialist - Field Normal shift turnover will be compensated by thirty (30) minutes pay at straight time per normal shift regardless of actual time involved in the turnover. It is understood that this 30 minutes pay also includes compensation for any time spent outside normal working hours changing into and out of “Browns” or any other required clothing or equipment.
Shift Changeover. The outgoing and incoming shifts will each have a five minute unpaid changeover period in all bays and on all processing machines on all shifts to familiarise the incoming shift on work-in-hand progress, and any other pertinent facts. This changeover period will be monitored accordingly by relevant personnel. It is agreed that the five minute changeover between shifts will continue to operate as follows: Day shift and processing shifts to be at the completion of the shift; afternoon and night shifts to be at the commencement of the shift.

  • Corrective Measures If the Participating Generator fails to meet or maintain the requirements set forth in this Agreement and/or the CAISO Tariff, the CAISO shall be permitted to take any of the measures, contained or referenced in the CAISO Tariff, which the CAISO deems to be necessary to correct the situation.

  • Start-Up and Synchronization Consistent with the mutually acceptable procedures of the Developer and Connecting Transmission Owner, the Developer is responsible for the proper synchronization of the Large Generating Facility to the New York State Transmission System in accordance with NYISO and Connecting Transmission Owner procedures and requirements.

  • Technical and Organizational Measures The following sections define SAP’s current technical and organizational measures.   • Unbundled Channelization (Multiplexing) 5.7.1 To the extent NewPhone is purchasing DS1 or DS3 or STS-1 Dedicated Transport pursuant to this Agreement, Unbundled Channelization (UC) provides the optional multiplexing capability that will allow a DS1 (1.544 Mbps) or DS3 (44.736 Mbps) or STS-1 (51.84 Mbps) Network Elements to be multiplexed or channelized at a BellSouth central office. Channelization can be accomplished through the use of a multiplexer or a digital cross-connect system at the discretion of BellSouth. Once UC has been installed, NewPhone may request channel activation on a channelized facility and BellSouth shall connect the requested facilities via COCIs. The COCI must be compatible with the lower capacity facility and ordered with the lower capacity facility. This service is available as defined in NECA 4.

  • Synchronization, Commissioning and Commercial Operation 4.1.1 The Power Producer shall give at least thirty (30) days written notice to the SLDC and GUVNL, of the date on which it intends to synchronize the Power Project to the Grid System.

  • Interim Measures 6.1 The Parties acknowledge that the British Columbia Claims Task Force made the following recommendation concerning interim measures:

  • Technical and Organisational Measures (1) Before the commencement of processing, the Supplier shall document the execution of the necessary Technical and Organisational Measures, set out in advance of the awarding of the Order or Contract, specifically with regard to the detailed execution of the contract, and shall present these documented measures to the Client for inspection. Upon acceptance by the Client, the documented measures become the foundation of the contract. Insofar as the inspection/audit by the Client shows the need for amendments, such amendments shall be implemented by mutual agreement.

  • Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee The Employer and the Union recognize the role of the joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee in promoting a safe and healthful workplace. The parties agree that a Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee shall be established for each Employer covered by this Collective Agreement. The Committee shall govern itself in accordance with the provisions of the Industrial Health and Safety Regulations made pursuant to the Workers’ Compensation Act. The Committee shall be as between the Employer and the Union, with equal representation, and with each party appointing its own representatives. Representatives of the Union shall be chosen by the Union membership or appointed by the Union. All minutes of the meetings of the Joint Occupational Health & Safety Committee will be recorded in a mutually agreeable format and will be sent to the Union. The Union further agrees to actively pursue with the other Health Care Unions a Joint Union Committee for the purposes of this Article. The Employer agrees to provide or cause to be provided to Employer members of the Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee adequate training and orientation to the duties and responsibilities of committee members to allow the incumbents to fulfil those duties competently. The Union agrees to provide or cause to be provided to Union members of the Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee adequate training and orientation to the duties and responsibilities of committee members to allow the incumbents to fulfil those duties competently. Such training and orientation shall take place within six (6) months of taking office.

  • Provisioning Line Splitting and Splitter Space 3.8.1 The Data LEC, Voice CLEC or BellSouth may provide the splitter. When EZ Phone or its authorized agent owns the splitter, Line Splitting requires the following: a non-designed analog Loop from the serving wire center to the NID at the End User’s location; a collocation cross connection connecting the Loop to the collocation space; a second collocation cross connection from the collocation space connected to a voice port; the high frequency spectrum line activation, and a splitter. The Loop and port cannot be a Loop and port combination (i.e. UNE-P), but must be individual stand-alone Network Elements. When BellSouth owns the splitter, Line Splitting requires the following: a non designed analog Loop from the serving wire center to the NID at the End User’s location with CFA and splitter port assignments, and a collocation cross connection from the collocation space connected to a voice port.
