Common use of Service of Payment Notice and payment Clause in Contracts

Service of Payment Notice and payment. Any claim under Clause 10.2 (Failure to pay scheme liabilities) must be made by written notice specifying the amount due (a “Payment Notice”), which must be served by the Administering Authority upon the Scheme Employer in accordance with Clause 11 (Notices). The Payment Notice is to be accepted by the Scheme Employer as conclusive evidence for all purposes that the amount claimed is due to the Administering Authority. The Scheme Employer must pay the sum so demanded within [5] Business Days of receipt of the Payment Notice.
