Common use of Sergeant Differential Clause in Contracts

Sergeant Differential. Effective January 1, 2007, an employee holding the rank of sergeant or provisional sergeant shall receive a differential that is eight percent (8%) above the wage rate to which they would ordinarily be entitled as a police officer. The differential plus the base wage shall be the basis of overtime pay calculation.
