Common use of Seniority Retention Clause in Contracts

Seniority Retention. A laid-off employee shall retain seniority and recall rights with the Company in accordance with the following: (a) less than twelve (12) months of seniority - six (6) months following the date of layoff; (b) twelve (12) months and less than forty-eight (48) months of seniority-twelve (12) months following the date of layoff; (c) forty-eight (48) months of seniority or more- twenty-four (24) months following the date of layoff.
