Common use of Selection Basis Clause in Contracts

Selection Basis. ‌ (a) Selections for job vacancies shall be made on the basis of ability, knowledge, experience, past work performance and seniority in that order. (b) In the event that two or more employees have similar ability, knowledge, experience and past work performance the employee with the greatest seniority shall be selected.
