Common use of Section A - General Clause in Contracts

Section A - General. (a) Where an employee is unable to perform any or all the substantive duties and responsibilities of the employee's position due to disability, the University, in consultation with the Union, will make every reasonable accommodation up to the point of undue hardship to enable the employee to continue to perform the substantive duties and responsibilities of the employee's position. Prior to making a formal request for accommodation, the employee and manager may resolve the matter at the departmental level.
