Section 9.5. Bereavement. 2 Each employee shall be entitled to a maximum of five (5) days leave per year, with pay, for absences 3 caused by death of an employee’s child, spouse, parent, step-parent, grandparent, grandchild, sibling, 4 brother-in-law, sister-in-law, or parent-in-law. Such leave is deducted from sick leave and is 6 needed, at the employee’s option, leave without pay or sick leave may be used.
