Section 8.2.7. Except as provided in the following section, any vacation credit currently due but unused 46 by the new accrual date each year may be carried over for one (1) year following the accrual date with the 47 approval of the immediate supervisor and administration. No vacation may be carried over for more than 1 one (1) year beyond the date on which it became due; provided, however, no employee shall be denied 2 accrued vacation benefits due to District employment needs. A specific vacation shall not exceed the 3 employee's one years, yearly accrual (per Section 8.2.1 and 8.2.2) unless approved by the Superintendent.

Section 8.2.7. 11 Employees who work less than twelve (12) months per year shall receive payment for unused 12 accrued vacation prorated in their annual contract.
