Common use of Section 8.14.3 Clause in Contracts

Section 8.14.3. 40 Paraeducators shall be compensated for required tasks performed at the direction of the 41 principal which are beyond their scheduled hours, e.g. bus duty, preparation of discipline and 42 accident reports, and other related paperwork. It is understood that paraeducators assigned to 43 direct instructional duties need to work with their teacher and principal to find reasonable 44 opportunities for consultation to create a quality program. No paraeducator shall be expected 45 to prepare lesson plans or consult with teachers on their own time.
