Section 8.14.3. 22 Decisions that result in a higher level of compensation on Schedule A shall be reflected within 23 forty-five (45) days. The committee may determine that the employee may be eligible for 24 retroactive pay based upon the information presented. Section 8.14.3. 40 Paraeducators shall be compensated for required tasks performed at the direction of the 41 principal which are beyond their scheduled hours, e.g. bus duty, preparation of discipline and 42 accident reports, and other related paperwork. It is understood that paraeducators assigned to 43 direct instructional duties need to work with their teacher and principal to find reasonable 44 opportunities for consultation to create a quality program. No paraeducator shall be expected 45 to prepare lesson plans or consult with teachers on their own time.

Section 8.14.3. 25 An employee returning from an extended authorized leave of absence will assume the original 26 route assigned prior to the leave of absence or, should the route no longer exist, to a 27 comparably-timed route which does not displace a driver with more seniority.
Section 8.14.3. 10 School year assignments (for regular employees that are paid on timesheets that are) expected 11 to run more than six (6) weeks will be counted as a regular assignment.
