Section 1 - Hours. ‌ The normal work week shall be thirty-seven and one-half (37.5) hours, consisting of five (5) consecutive days, Monday through Friday inclusive. The normal work day shall consist of seven and one-half (7.5) consecutive hours, eight (8:00) a.m., to four-thirty (4:30) p.m., exclusive of one (1) hour meal period. It is the individual worker’s responsibility to insure that they report to work on time and leave work on time consistent with this provision. A flexible work schedule allowing for a work schedule of thirty-five (35) hours per week may be maintained under the following conditions:
Section 1 - Hours. The Town and Union acknowledge that those cover by this agreement will work a twenty-four (24) hour shift schedule. No firefighter will be permitted to work more than 48 hours at any one time unless the Chief requires it in the event of a holdover, working fire, storm conditions or other conditions, which in the Chiefs opinion would threaten public safety.

  • Service outside business hours However, if under Clause 28.3 a notice would be deemed to be served:

  • Normal Working Hours Prevailing Wage Rate Projects: Work performed from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00

  • Minimum Hours In the event of an employee starting work in any day and being sent home before s/he has completed four (4) hours, s/he shall be paid for four (4) hours at the regular rate of pay. In the event that an employee reports for work but is sent home before commencing work, s/he shall be paid for two (2) hours at regular rates. No pay entitlement will apply if the employee is incapable of performing his/her duties.

  • Hours For the purposes of an unpaid 7.5-hour shift, the deduction from pay shall equate to 9.375 hours.

  • Service Hours The services shall be provided during the working hours and days as defined by the Contractor.

  • Work Hours Except in emergencies, the standard work week of full-time unit employees shall normally consist of five (5) days of eight (8) hours each, exclusive of lunch hour. Each employee shall be assigned regular starting and ending times, which shall not be changed without prior notice. Should an employee be required to work during his/her lunch hour, the length of such interruption shall be counted as time worked unless other arrangements are made with his/her supervisor.

  • Union Activity During Working Hours The Employer and the Union recognize that union representatives and stewards play an important role in effectuating the terms of this Agreement; however, both parties acknowledge that the duties undertaken as a union representative or xxxxxxx are in addition to the their job assignments. The Union shall notify the Department of Budget and Management in writing of the names of designated stewards and union representatives prior to them assuming any duties. Consistent with the operational needs of the Employer, the Employer shall grant time off with pay for designated stewards and union representatives, including reasonable travel time when necessary, to attend:

  • Building Hours The specific hours at any individual building may vary according to the needs of the educational program of the School District. The specific hours for each building will be designated by the School District.

  • Extra Hours (a) Any additional hours beyond base hours shall be offered in a fair and impartial manner among "A" list part-time employees in the classification and in the geographical location in which the additional hours are required. Each zone, each bureau and One Yonge Street shall be considered separate geographical locations. A part-time employee who is scheduled to work, (under the terms of Article 7) additional hours beyond the base hours and who does not work those hours due to sickness, shall be paid for such hours under the application of the Sick Leave provisions under Article 13 and Clause (2405).

  • Reasonable Additional Hours All hours worked over an average of 38 ordinary hours per week, will be deemed to be additional hours. All hours worked by permanent part-time employees beyond their specified number of hours will be treated as additional hours for the purpose of this subclause. From time to time, employees may be required to work a reasonable amount of additional hours. All additional hours worked will be paid in accordance with this Agreement. An employee may not be required to work additional hours in circumstances where the working of additional hours would result in the employee working hours which are unreasonable having regards to (refer to section 226 of the Act):
