Second Shift Differential Sample Clauses

The Second Shift Differential clause establishes additional compensation for employees who work during a designated second shift, typically outside of standard daytime hours. This clause specifies the rate or percentage increase applied to the base wage for hours worked during the second shift, and may outline eligibility criteria or exceptions. Its core function is to incentivize employees to work less desirable hours and to ensure fair compensation for work performed outside of regular shifts.
