Common use of Scope of Work Defined Clause in Contracts

The purpose of this Master Agreement is to memorialize terms of the contract under which catalog discount options are provided for heavy construction and industrial equipment for all Participating Entities in furtherance of the NASPO ValuePoint Cooperative Purchasing Program. The objective is to obtain best value, and in some cases achieve more favorable pricing, than is obtainable by an individual state or local government entity because of the collective volume of potential purchases by numerous state and local government entities.
