Common use of SCHOOL CLOSING/CALAMITY DAYS Clause in Contracts

SCHOOL CLOSING/CALAMITY DAYS. Any employee required to work and working during the time of an emergency created by an Act of God, such as a tornado, flood, snowstorm, fog, etc. or a public calamity, requiring school or schools to be closed to students shall be compensated at their rate of pay (straight time) for all hours worked during such emergency, in addition to Calamity Day Pay.
