School Activity. 11.1.4.1 If the principal and the teacher reason that a school sponsored activity or some activity sponsored by the school system requires that a teacher be away from his/her regularly assigned duties either as an individual or with students, a substitute may be provided.
11.1.4.2 A request from a teacher should be submitted through the principal to the Assistant Superintendent for Instructional Services. The Assistant Superintendent for Instructional Services will respond in writing approving or disapproving the request.
11.1.4.3 Prior approval is required.
