Hiring and Supervision. The GTP and the Alliance Members shall jointly hire the Senior Vice-President by action of the Executive Director of the GTP and the Chief Executive Officer of the Alliance Members. They shall make every effort to reach a joint decision on the hire. In the event, it is not possible for them to agree on a hiring decision, the Executive Director of the GTP will make the final selection pursuant to GTP policy. Similarly, supervision, performance review, discipline and termination of the Senior Vice-President shall be made jointly to the extent reasonable possible, with the Executive Director of the GTP making a final decision only if it is not possible to agree on a personnel action.

The Employee reports to the Building Principal or designee who determines all work duties, work schedules, and responsibilities. The Human Resources Department shall notify the OTA President upon hiring new Crossing Guards.
