Common use of Schedule Posting Clause in Contracts

Schedule Posting. Work schedules showing the shifts, days, and hours of all employees shall be posted at least fourteen (14) calendar days in advance of their effective day. Work schedules for employees shall have no fewer than two (2) consecutive days off between consecutive work days. All schedule changes shall require such a fourteen (14) day notice except for the three situations referenced in Section 1G which require a twenty-eight (28) day notice. In addition, employees being returned to work as part of a workers' compensation placement are not entitled to a fourteen (14) day notice. Employees who are qualified and capable may mutually agree to exchange days, shifts, or hours of work with the approval of their supervisor which shall not be unreasonably denied and provided such change does not result in the payment of overtime.
