Common use of SCHEDULE ALTERATIONS Clause in Contracts

SCHEDULE ALTERATIONS. A minimum of seven (7) days' notice shall be given when an employee's hours of work as shown on the schedule are to be ch anged, with the following exceptions: 1. Reserve hours of work may be change d within a calendar day, providing a minimum of two (2) non-working shifts' (s ixteen (16) hours) notice is given before the start of the first affected shift. 2. With four (4) days' notice, reserve days of work may be interchanged with scheduled days off, within the posted schedule. Such interchange will not be used for an employee while attending meetings involving the Union. 3. In the case of illness, which would re ▇▇▇▇ in a staff shortage, four (4) days’ advance notice will be given when placing an employee on shift.
