Saving holiday Sample Clauses
A "Saving holiday" clause allows employees to carry over unused holiday entitlement from one leave year to the next. Typically, this clause sets out the conditions under which holidays can be saved, such as a maximum number of days that may be carried forward or a deadline by which the saved days must be used. Its core practical function is to provide flexibility for employees who are unable to take all their annual leave within the designated period, thereby preventing the loss of accrued holiday and supporting work-life balance.
