Common use of Saved Holidays Clause in Contracts

Saved Holidays. Saved Holidays may be accrued in lieu of observed holidays per the specific provisions of this Article. 1. Up to fifty (50) hours of Saved Holiday time which is not used by the end of the fiscal year can be carried over into the next fiscal year. An employee’s saved holiday bank may not exceed fifty (50) hours. In the event an employee exceeds fifty (50) hours of saved holiday time, the excess time shall be paid at the appropriate rate of pay. 2. Saved Holiday time may be used at the discretion of the employee with the consent of his or her supervisor. Saved Holiday time will be charged in accordance with the uniform time charging provisions of Article 13. 3. Upon separation from service employees will be paid for unused 4.
