Save Selection. This option found in the File menu will save a STUDIO file of only the actively selected images from your document. It is saved to any specified location on your computer and can be backed up to a removable or external memory device as desired.

Save Selection. If you want to only save certain records in the file then you can highlight these records, select the Save Selection... option in the File menu and enter a new file name. You can highlight records by clicking on the xxxx box at the left hand edge of the grid. Dragging the mouse down will select more than one record. You cannot select records which are out of sequence so you may need to sort the grid before you make your selection. Printing Files To print the records in a .csv file, select the Print option from the File menu. The records will be printed on the current default printer. To change the printer or print options, select the Printer Setup... option from the File menu. N.B. You cannot print a selection of records from a .csv file. To edit data in one of the cells either double click on it or use the cursor keys to highlight the cell and press the Enter key. The cursor will be positioned at the end of any existing data. Type in the new value and either press the enter key or click on another cell to make the change. If you are editing a cell and want to abort the change, press the Esc key.

Save to Library This option found in the File menu will save your file into the Library in Silhouette Studio. Upon selecting this option, you will be prompted to enter the name, keywords (which will become searchable upon re-indexing the library, as found under the Advanced Preferences), a description, the artist, and the shape’s category type. Upon saving images to your library, they will be added to a section labeled My Own Designs in the Library. These images cannot be navigated to on your computer for manually backing them up, so it is highly recommended to also save a copy of any images using the regular Save option.

  • Vacation Selection Beginning January 2 of each calendar year, employees will be scheduled a time, based on seniority, to select up to three (3) segments of available vacation leave during the time period of April 1 through March 31. A “segment” is one (1) or more contiguous days of vacation leave. No segment shall include more than ten (10) consecutive days of vacation leave in June, July, and/or August, provided that an employee may select contiguous segments of vacation leave. Each employee will be guaranteed one (1) scheduled workweek of vacation leave if requested as one of their segments. Off-shift times to select a vacation will not be considered as “time worked” for purposes of computing callback or overtime. If an employee is unable to be present during their scheduled time they may make their choice by telephone, email, or another individual with written documentation of designation, may select a vacation segment(s) for the employee. If the employee fails to select their vacation during their assigned time, the Employer may proceed with scheduling. The employee will be provided an opportunity to select their segment(s) at a later date when they are available. The Employer will publish the vacation schedule by March 1, after considering requests, as well as Agency program needs. Employees will complete a Leave Request Form no less than thirty (30) days prior to any approved vacation segment taken.

  • Personnel Selection Leave 35.6.1 Where an employee participates in a personnel selection process for a position in the Public Service, as defined in the Financial Administration Act, the Council shall grant leave of absence with pay for the period during which the employee's presence is required for purposes of the selection process, and for such further period as the Council considers reasonable for the employee to travel to and from the place where his presence is so required.
