Common use of SAME WORK Clause in Contracts

SAME WORK. An employee shall not be entitled to be paid in respect of the same work under more than one clause of this Agreement, unless otherwise specifically provided and, in any event, the rate of payment excluding the minimum payment and travelling allowance provided for in clause 10.01 shall not exceed twice the straight time hourly rate except in respect of work performed on a recognized holiday specified in clause 9.01 a) in which case such rate, excluding the travelling allowance and minimum payment provided for in clause 10.01 but including the holiday allowance provided for in clause 9.01 a) shall not exceed two and one-half times the straight time hourly rate.
