Salary Upon Reclassification of Position - Higher Salary. Except as otherwise provided in this Memorandum, whenever a position is reclassified to a class that is allocated to a higher salary scale, the salary of the incumbent shall be provided by this Article 6 upon promotion if the incumbent is appointed to fill the position in accordance with the Civil Service Rules.
