Common use of Safety Certification Clause in Contracts

Safety Certification. (a) The Vendor certifies the scooters and other permitted devices are safe to operate within the City of Seattle under all conditions that include but are not limited to: 1. Potential wet, icy, or snowy weather; 2. Steep slopes; 3. Pavement imperfections; 4. Cobbled or roughly-paved streets; and 5. Streetcar and train tracks in the street. (b) The Vendor shall indemnify and hold harmless the City of Seattle as provided for in the Indemnity Agreement (Appendix A).
