Common use of Safe Working Practices Clause in Contracts

Safe Working Practices. 22.01.1 Both Parties recognize the importance of safe working practices as applied both to the clients of the service and to the employees. In order to ▇▇▇▇▇▇ safety, the Parties agree to the following: 22.01.2 An employee shall not be required to drive a vehicle that is unsafe. Employees must follow the procedures laid down by the Employer for reporting vehicles in need of maintenance. 22.01.3 An employee who has reported an unsafe vehicle shall not lose pay for time not worked due to the vehicle being repaired. 22.01.4 The final determination of whether a vehicle is safe rests with a journeyman certified mechanic.
