Route Planning Sample Clauses

The Route Planning clause defines the responsibilities and procedures for determining the specific paths or routes to be taken during the transportation of goods or services. It typically outlines who is responsible for planning the route, any requirements for approval or notification, and may specify factors to consider such as efficiency, safety, or regulatory compliance. For example, the clause might require the carrier to select the most direct or cost-effective route, or to avoid certain areas due to restrictions. Its core practical function is to ensure that all parties are clear on how routes are chosen, thereby minimizing disputes, optimizing logistics, and managing risks associated with transportation.
