Common use of Road Use Clause in Contracts

Road Use. a. PURCHASER shall not transport logs over any roads, private or public, without first obtaining permission or permits to use them. PURCHASER shall abide by all rules and regulations pertaining to road use and maintenance. While conducting, and following, logging activities, PURCHASER shall be responsible for maintenance of all roads (except for roads under maintenance agreements or PUC) to a condition equivalent to that before use. Additionally, PURCHASER will be required to construct two (2) road Tank Traps or Barricades at COUNTY’S direction. b. While conducting, and following, logging activities, PURCHASER shall be responsible for maintenance of all roads within the sale area, to a condition equivalent to that approved after initial use. c. Any temp roads opened for the purpose of this sale are subject to decommission as determined by the COUNTY, including tank traps and ripping of surface.
