Fire Watch Sample Clauses
The Fire Watch clause establishes the requirement for designated personnel to monitor a site for potential fire hazards during and after certain activities, such as hot work operations. Typically, this clause outlines who is responsible for conducting the fire watch, the duration of the monitoring period, and the specific conditions under which a fire watch must be maintained, such as welding or cutting near flammable materials. Its core practical function is to reduce the risk of fire-related incidents by ensuring that any ignition sources are promptly detected and addressed, thereby enhancing overall site safety.
