Common use of Retirement Conversion Leave Clause in Contracts

Retirement Conversion Leave. In the event of a retirement, the employee may opt to utilize leave to include Annual, Accrued and converted Sick as Retirement Conversion Leave. If this option is chosen, then the employee may choose one of two options: 19.12.1 Continue to take Retirement Conversion Leave on the employee's current work schedule upon announcement of Retirement. 19.12.2 Employee may opt to be placed on a converted 40-hour work schedule including converted pay scale in accordance with Article 37.4.
